The Ventucky Stompers are so excited to be partnering with Beach Country Fest to bring a 4 day competition circuit to raise both awareness and funds for homeless veterans. This competition circuit is woven into the 4 day memorial weekend May 22-25th 2026 live music tour featuring Whey Jennings, Dani Rose and incredible DJ’s mixing music, dancing and a friendly competition!

HOW IT WORKS

There are 3 days of qualifying prelims that span over Southern California with resident judges Rick Dominguez & Cal O’Flanagan

Friday May 22nd – Red Engine in Fillmore
with featured Guest Judge: Candy Sherwin

Sat May 23rd – Gaslamp Long Beach
with featured Guest Judge: Cindi Massengale

Sun May 24th – Peltzer Winery Temecula
with featured Guest Judge: Brianna Bench

Winners of the qualifying rounds will move onto the Finals that are hosting in the early afternoon on
Monday May 25th at the Epic Events Center in Rancho Cucamonga featuring Annemarie Dunn, director of Word In Motion and the Stagecoach Honkytonk Dance Team as the guest judge.

During the Prelims:
Dancers are encouraged to enter as many of the competition categories they qualify for. There are 4 – Novice, Intermediate, Ages 30+ and Crowd favorite. Let’s break down what those mean.

PREREQUISITE CATEGORIES
Novice: Having been dancing less than 2 years and having won no more than 1 previous competition prior to this event.

Intermediate: Any length of dance experience and any number of previous wins. Technically a novice dancer could choose to enter this category BUT an intermediate dancer with more than 1 previous win CANNOT enter the novice category.

OPEN CATEGORIES
Ages 30+: We wanted a mixed level category for those who love to line dance but don’t necessarily want to go against the younger generation =)

Crowd Favorite: This is open to any and all levels, any previous competition wins and all ages! This category is voted by the CROWD! Upon entry every spectator receives 1 ticket. After the “Crowd Favorite” category is completed, the patrons will have the ability to write their favorite competitors’ bib number onto their ticket and cast their vote. Those votes will be tallied and announced with the other winners later that night SO INVITING YOUR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTER IS KEY!

FINALS MAY 25TH
Winners and runners-ups of each prelims will go on to compete for the custom championship buckle to claim their title for the 2026 Boots Of Valor competition.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS KEY! SPOTS ARE LIMITED
We want to include as many people as possible for this incredible event but really want to emphasize pre-registration. We have a small number of spots for each category reserved so walk-in/on-site registrants are not promised if the category is sold out. You can register by clicking the link below and make sure to get your spectator tickets as well, for your supporters! Cost is $16.50 each DAY (not each category) so your ticket covers as many categories as you qualify for on the date you purchase Friday-Sunday). Once a winner/runner up has been announced, they will receive a link to purchase their Finals/Dance-Off ticket for 5/25.

Additionally, there will be open Line Dancing with various DJ’s AND live music every night so your competitor and spectator passes will include the entire concert event to enjoy!
