Our Director Crickett Kinser

Though having taught clogging since age 16, officially this group, The Ventucky Cloggers formed in 2016 under the direction and vision of Crickett Kinser. She wanted to show her community that clogging is fun, great exercise and for adults! Her desire was to create a team that fit in with the Ventura scene and love for Johnny Cash while still honoring the traditional take of this folk dance. Mixing her own aesthetics and love for alternative music styles, she has spent years grooming this team into what is now.

Crickett has been clogging since age 4 and has grown up travelling all over the united states competing, teaching, directing and performing. With countless state, regional and national championship titles, her knowledge of proper technique and teaching experience is evident in her classes.
Eventually Crickett rebranded The Ventucky Cloggers into the Ventucky Stompers out of the demand and request of local line dancers asking to provide a place for line dancing to be hosted.

A little less-know fact: Crickett is also a specialized Kitchen & Bath Designer. With her bachelors degree in Interior Architectural Design, she has been designing and creating beautiful spaces for residential homes for 20 years! She has quite the following on her Instagram
